This Agreement applies between you, the user of the Online Learning Hub, and According to the Planets, the owner and operator of this platform. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Online Learning Hub. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should stop using the Hub immediately.
Clauses relating to account use, communications, and access apply to all users, while sections on orders, pricing, and refunds apply specifically to the purchase of Services.
Nothing on the Online Learning Hub constitutes a contractual offer. By placing an order, you make an offer to us, which we accept only when we send a confirmation email acknowledging your purchase.
In this Agreement, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

“Premises” – refers to According to the Planets’s operating base within the United States. According to the Planets does not maintain a public physical location.
“System” – any online communication infrastructure provided by According to the Planets through the Online Learning Hub, including but not limited to email, discussion boards, live chat, or contact forms.
“User” or “Users” – any individual who accesses or uses the Online Learning Hub and is not employed by According to the Planets while acting within the scope of their employment.
“Online Learning Hub” – the digital learning environment you are currently using (accordingtotheplanets.com), which hosts courses, resources, and other Services offered by According to the Planets.
“We”, “Us”, or “Our” – refers to According to the Planets, operating from within the United States.
The Online Learning Hub welcomes learners of all ages. However, if you are considered a minor in your country of residence, you should access the Hub with the knowledge or consent of a parent or guardian. Any Payment Information used to purchase Services must be provided by, or with the consent of, an adult.
These Terms and Conditions apply equally to individual learners and to organizations or professionals purchasing Services for business, institutional, or educational purposes. According to the Planets is not liable for how Services are used within an organization or for any outcomes resulting from third-party use or application of the material provided.
4.1 Except where otherwise noted or where Content is uploaded by Users, all materials within the Online Learning Hub — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, data compilations, page layout, underlying code, and software — are the property of According to the Planets, its affiliates, or other rightful owners. By using the Online Learning Hub, you acknowledge that all materials are protected by applicable United States and international intellectual property laws, and agree not to challenge According to the Planets’s ownership or licensing rights.
4.2 Unless expressly permitted within the Online Learning Hub or granted in writing by According to the Planets, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store, or otherwise reuse any part of the Content for commercial or public purposes.
4.3 Where applicable, learners may download or print materials specifically designated for that purpose within the Online Learning Hub for personal, non-commercial use only. According to the Planets is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or misuse of such materials once downloaded.
5.1 Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in materials, images, and descriptions originating from third-party sources — including, but not limited to, publishers, research institutions, content providers, or course contributors — remain the property of their respective owners.
5.2 Unless expressly permitted within the Online Learning Hub or granted in writing by the relevant rights holder, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store, or otherwise reuse any such material.
Material from the Online Learning Hub may be reused without written permission only where permitted by applicable copyright laws — such as fair use, fair dealing, or other recognized exceptions under international copyright standards.
The Online Learning Hub may contain links to external websites or resources. Unless expressly stated, these sites are not operated or controlled by According to the Planets or its affiliates. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any linked sites and disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from their use.
You are welcome to link to the home page of the Online Learning Hub (accordingtotheplanets.com) or to other publicly accessible pages, provided that the link is fair, lawful, and does not misrepresent According to the Planets or suggest any association or endorsement where none exists.
Use of According to the Planets’s logos, branding, or proprietary graphics in links requires our prior written permission. If you wish to discuss partnership or promotional linking, please contact us at life@accordingtotheplanets.com.
9.1 When using any communication features within the Online Learning Hub (such as discussion areas, comment sections, or messaging tools), you agree to follow these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in suspension or closure of your Account:
- 9.1.1 Do not use obscene, offensive, or vulgar language.
- 9.1.2 Do not post or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- 9.1.3 Do not post or promote content that incites or glorifies violence.
- 9.1.4 Please use English for submissions and communications, as we may not be able to respond in other languages.
- 9.1.5 The way you identify yourself must be truthful and lawful.
- 9.1.6 Do not impersonate any person or entity, including representatives of According to the Planets or its affiliates.
- 9.1.7 Do not use the communication systems for unauthorized mass messaging, spam, or solicitation.
9.2 You acknowledge that According to the Planets reserves the right to monitor communications made through the Online Learning Hub to ensure compliance with these Terms.
9.3 According to the Planets may retain records of communications for security, training, or legal purposes.
9.4 By submitting content or messages through the Online Learning Hub, you grant According to the Planets a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, or modify such content for operational, security, or training purposes. According to the Planets is not obligated to use, display, or retain any user-submitted content and reserves the right to remove it at any time.
10.1 To access certain areas of the Online Learning Hub or to purchase Services, you may need to create an Account. Your Account will include personal information and, when applicable, Payment Information. By creating an Account, you confirm that:
- 10.1.1 all information you provide is accurate and truthful;
- 10.1.2 you have permission to provide any Payment Information used; and
- 10.1.3 you will keep your details accurate and up to date.
10.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials, including your username and password. According to the Planets accepts no liability for any loss or damage resulting from the sharing of your Account information. If you use a shared device, we recommend not saving login details in your browser.
10.3 Orders or payments may be cancelled only before access to paid content has been granted. Once Service delivery or digital access has begun, payments are non-refundable except as described in Section 14 (Refunds and Cancellations) or where otherwise required by applicable law.
10.4 When selecting your username or display name, you must follow the communication rules set out in Clause 9. Failure to do so may result in suspension or deletion of your Account.
11.1 According to the Planets reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Account without prior notice if we reasonably believe there has been a violation of these Terms, misuse of Services, or activity that may cause harm to the platform or other users. You may also terminate your Account at any time by contacting us.
11.2 If According to the Planets terminates your Account, any active or pending orders or payments will be cancelled, and access to the related Services will cease.
12.1 According to the Planets makes every effort to ensure that descriptions of Services within the Online Learning Hub are accurate and current. However, all descriptions are provided for general informational purposes only. Variations may occur as the exact nature and delivery of each Service can depend on your individual circumstances, evolving course materials, or platform updates. According to the Planets shall not be held liable for any reliance placed on such descriptions or for minor differences between descriptions and the Services actually provided, provided these differences do not materially affect the overall quality or learning outcome of the Service.
12.2 Where applicable, you may be asked to select a specific plan, version, or duration of a Service before placing your order.
12.3 According to the Planets does not guarantee that all Services will be available at all times and can only confirm availability upon acceptance of your order. Service availability may be subject to scheduling, enrollment limits, or technical factors.
12.4 All pricing information within the Online Learning Hub is accurate at the time of publication. According to the Planets reserves the right to update prices, adjust special offers, or modify Services at any time without prior notice. Refunds, where applicable, are subject to the terms set out in Section 14 (Refunds and Cancellations).
12.5 If pricing changes occur between the time an order is placed and the time payment is processed, the price in effect at the time of your order will apply.
13.1 No part of the Online Learning Hub constitutes a contractual offer. Your order represents an offer to purchase Services, which According to the Planets may accept or decline at its sole discretion. Acceptance occurs only when a confirmation email is sent to you indicating that your order has been approved.
13.2 According to the Planets reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to confirmation for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, technical issues, Service unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
13.3 Services will be provided only after payment has been successfully processed. Delivery of digital Services occurs when access to the purchased content is made available to your Account within the Online Learning Hub.
13.4 According to the Planets will make reasonable efforts to ensure that access to purchased Services is available without interruption. However, we do not guarantee continuous, error-free, or always-available access and accept no liability for temporary unavailability due to maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control.
13.5 All orders are subject to the Refund and Cancellation terms set out in Section 14 (Refunds and Cancellations).
13.6 According to the Planets will use reasonable skill and care in providing all Services, consistent with industry standards and best practices for online education.
13.7 In the event that Services are delivered in error or do not match your order, please contact us immediately. According to the Planets will review and, where appropriate, correct the issue within five (5) working days.
13.8 Certain Services may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be presented for your review and acceptance before completing your order.
13.9 According to the Planets provides technical and customer support through our designated communication channels, including email or support requests within the Online Learning Hub. While every effort will be made to respond promptly, no specific response time is guaranteed.
14.1 According to the Planets wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us at life@accordingtotheplanets.com. You may cancel an order or request cancellation of a Contract in accordance with this Section. Where a Service includes specific cancellation terms, those terms will take precedence over this general policy.
14.2 Customers based in the European Union or the United Kingdom have a statutory right to a 14-day “cooling-off” period for digital purchases. This period begins once your order has been confirmed and the contract formed between you and According to the Planets. If you wish to cancel within this period, you must notify us in writing at life@accordingtotheplanets.com.
14.3 By requesting that Services begin within the 14-day cooling-off period, you expressly agree to the following:
14.3.1 If the Services are fully delivered, or if digital content has been accessed or made available to you within this period, your right to cancel ends immediately.
14.3.2 Once access to any digital content or Service has been granted — including logging into a course, viewing a lesson, or downloading material — the Service is considered delivered and no refunds will be issued.
14.4 For customers outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, refunds and cancellations will be handled in accordance with local consumer protection laws and According to the Planets’s internal policies. Once access to digital content has been granted, all sales are final and non-refundable.
14.5 For subscription-based Services, cancellation requests will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Access will continue until that date, and no partial or prorated refunds will be issued for unused time.
14.6 Once a digital Service or course has been accessed in any form, the purchase is final and non-refundable, regardless of any remaining time or content not yet viewed.
Use of the Online Learning Hub is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. By continuing to use the Online Learning Hub, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.16.1 According to the Planets collects, uses, and stores personal information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and relevant U.S. privacy regulations.
16.2 We may use your personal information to:
- 16.2.1 Provide and maintain access to the Services you have purchased;
- 16.2.2 Process payments and manage billing; and
- 16.2.3 Communicate with you about updates, new Services, or promotions related to According to the Planets. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
16.3 We do not sell or rent your personal information. In limited circumstances, we may share information with trusted service providers who assist in operating the Online Learning Hub, processing payments, or delivering communications—always in compliance with applicable privacy laws and only to the extent necessary to perform those functions.
16.4 We will never share your personal information with third parties for unrelated purposes without your explicit consent, except where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
17.1 According to the Planets makes no warranty or representation that the Online Learning Hub or any of its Services will meet your specific requirements, achieve any particular result, or be compatible with all systems or devices. We do not warrant that the Online Learning Hub will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor that it will be free of viruses or other harmful components.
17.2 All Content and materials provided through the Online Learning Hub are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice and should not be relied upon to make personal or business decisions.
17.3 Nothing within the Online Learning Hub constitutes a contractual offer capable of acceptance except as expressly stated in Section 13 (Orders and Provision of Services).
17.4 While According to the Planets makes reasonable efforts to maintain the security and performance of the Online Learning Hub, users are responsible for maintaining their own internet security, including the protection of personal information, passwords, and devices.
According to the Planets reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Online Learning Hub, its Content, or these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will take effect from the first time you use the Online Learning Hub after the changes have been published. If According to the Planets is required by law to amend these Terms, such changes will apply automatically to all current and future orders.
19.1 The Online Learning Hub is provided “as is” and “as available.” According to the Planets follows industry best practices to maintain high uptime, using secure, fault-tolerant cloud architecture. However, we make no warranty that the Online Learning Hub or its Facilities will be free from defects, interruptions, or faults, and no refunds will be issued for service outages. According to the Planets provides no express or implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, compatibility, or satisfactory quality.
19.2 According to the Planets accepts no liability for any disruption, interruption, or unavailability of the Online Learning Hub resulting from external causes including, but not limited to, Internet Service Provider or hosting failures, network or power outages, natural events, government restrictions, or acts of war.
20.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, According to the Planets shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage—whether foreseeable or not—arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Online Learning Hub, its Content, or any Services provided. You acknowledge that you use the Online Learning Hub and its materials entirely at your own risk.
20.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits According to the Planets’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
20.3 According to the Planets shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on information provided within the Online Learning Hub or from any delay, error, or interruption in the delivery of Services, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
20.4 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be deemed severed and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining Terms. This clause applies only within jurisdictions where a particular term is deemed invalid.
If According to the Planets or any user fails to exercise or enforce any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions, such failure shall not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy, nor prevent its later enforcement.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall grant any rights or benefits to a third party. This agreement is solely between you and According to the Planets.
23.1 All notices or communications to According to the Planets must be sent by email to life@accordingtotheplanets.com. Communications will be deemed received on the day they are successfully sent, provided this occurs on a business day; otherwise, they will be deemed received on the next business day.
23.2 According to the Planets may contact you from time to time with information about courses, updates, or related Services, but only if you have opted in to receive such communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email you receive from us.
These Terms and Conditions, and the relationship between you and According to the Planets, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of North Carolina. You and According to the Planets agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in North Carolina, United States.
